Ruben the Bear

Mini's Soccer Team
The Bankwood School Mini's had their first soccer game of the season last weekend.
The children had a great game and there were lots of proud parents and teachers on the sideline!

Balloon Visit
Once again we were lucky enough to have a visit from a hot air balloon pilotand crew during the Balloon Over Waikato Festival.
Unfortunately the weather was not kind, so the crew was unable to inflate it outside. Instead they showed us the balloon in the hall and the children had the opportunity to ask questions. Some of the children even had a turn standing inside the basket!

Art Auction
Below are some examples of the fantastic art designed and made by our creative and clever children.

Creating a Flexible Learning Space
Currently we are in the process of upgrading a double classroom into a flexible learning space for children who are in their first year of learning.
This exciting new space is due to be completed in time for children to begin Term 4 2009.
